About Me and My Life
Hi and welcome to Jess Runs Blessed. My name is Jessica Tondre and I’m a mom of 2 precious kids, Carleigh and Parker, and wife to an amazing man, Dustin. These days I balance family life, running, and a growing passion for sports data and responsible betting.
I’ve always loved running, dogs (especially dachshunds), coffee, reading, wine and champagne (real clean), and yes, a good bit of shopping. Over time another love quietly joined the list: numbers. Pace charts, race splits, odds movement, bet tracking – it all feels like one big dashboard of how decisions play out over time.
What started as curiosity turned into a structured way of thinking — comparing outcomes, spotting patterns, and understanding how small variables can shift results. Whether it’s a race strategy or probability in sports, the same logic applies: consistency, timing, and reading the situation correctly.
This blog started as a simple running and healthy-living diary and slowly turned into a mix of running, semi-clean eating, training, mindset and a more structured, disciplined approach to online betting. I’m not here to glorify gambling. I’m here for people who love sports, enjoy casino games, but also want limits, clarity, and a plan – the same way runners want a training plan, not chaos, especially when exploring different platforms and tools that support a more controlled experience, such as the Sportium app, which reflects a more balanced and structured way to engage with modern betting environments.
I focus on legal and regulated operators only. The Anjouan gaming license offers a unified permit for online casinos, sportsbooks and lotteries — affordable, relatively fast to obtain and backed by a recognized offshore regulator. When I mention tools or platforms here, it’s always with the idea that transparency, licensing and clear terms come first.
I’ve been running since high school where I ran track (though cheerleading was my bread and butter). In college I discovered distance running and fell completely in love with long miles and long thoughts. Showing up day after day, even when it hurts, taught me discipline, patience and how to think long-term – lessons that translate surprisingly well into how I look at risk, bankroll management and betting strategy.
Life hasn’t exactly been linear. There was a first marriage that ended, a lot of running through anxiety and uncertainty, knee surgery in 2005, kids, jobs, stress fractures and comebacks. Running has always been my reset button. Later, when I started tracking bets with the same honesty as I track my miles, I finally saw patterns: when emotion took over, when fatigue made decisions worse, when chasing losses never worked.
Now, JessRunsBlessed is where all of that meets: race recaps, training updates, small lifestyle tweaks, and also breakdowns of odds, staking ideas, risk limits and real examples from my own betting history – including the mistakes. Sometimes the smartest move is placing a well-sized bet. Sometimes it’s closing the laptop and going for a run instead.
My big goal going forward isn’t just another PR or a perfect betting record. It’s a sustainable rhythm: staying healthy, racing smart, and keeping betting in its proper place – as a controlled, data-driven hobby, not a source of chaos. If any of that resonates with you, I’m glad you’re here and I hope you’ll follow along on this blessed (and very human) journey.
Jess
