I had my biopsy results this past Friday and got as good as news as any. My nephrologist said the pathologist found ischemic acute tubular necrosis … this sounds bad, but is the most common cause of renal failure and is reversible! READ MORE
Okay, this isn’t rocket science so don’t expect an Albert Einstein moment but I was at the gym this morning, day 28 of not running, but who’s counting, feeling a little bra bulge (remember we all have this), and thinking about all of the Christmas parties we’ve got. I thought to myself … ugh , all of this drinking is making me feel gross. Anyone feel me? But I don’t want to be antisocial! Rewind to yesterday and a good girlfriend had the same conversation with me. December is just crazy! She shared her same concerns plus that she was worried about gaining weight. Which, as I was grinding away on the Stepmill today led me to take out my cell and write the following notes in my phone. We all wish we were more organized. Even the most organized among us, right? Or is that just my OCD self that thinks that? I am the person that wants a bin for a bin. 🙂 Well, ever since we moved to Dallas from San Antonio nearly 4 years ago, our schedules have gotten busier and planning and organizing events with our immediate and extended family (as well as friends), has only gotten more challenging. I try to stay on top of things with my iPhone calendar (iCal) and extend invites to my other iPhone carrying friends but it never fails that we have a miscommunication every so often.
